Yuhang's HomeJanuary 02 Singapore TripMy one month holiday finally came to an end. Three weeks trip back to Singapore and China seem short when I look back. It was just like what I expected, meeting friends whom I haven't seen for 3 years, having delicious food, and going shopping freely. It also included a lot of work I haven't thought of. It is the tough time that little Songling had to adapt to the weather and jet lag showing the big change we went through. But it is good to handle this during holiday season. So spend more time when the job is tough next time.
Today is the first day that little Songling started her day care. Like all the Mom in the world, I try to bring her all the stuff she need, and wish she like what I chose for her. It is just the start that she set her little feet on her own way. It is hard to imagine the long road ahead. Perhaps it is the learning I have to take as well. September 13 CorrelationWhen I look at my own blog, I believe there is some kind of correlation between the frequency of the posts and the paces of my life. Probably laziness should be considered too. I was like riding a roller coaster in the past few months, spending most of my time to adjust to the new routine demanded by the job and home remodeling. The funny thing is I cannot recall much of my home and work projects. However, what I remember clearly is the growth of Songling. April 27 ChinaRenThanks to my sister-in-law, the shock and the joy that ChinaRen gave to me was beyond any words can describe. Anyway, I finally find my old classmates whom I have missed for a long time. Their smiles and voices are so sweet and familar that I cannot believe so many years have passed. At first our curiosity brought us so many questions such as how we look like, and what we are doing now. Then slowly we calmed down and recognized the familiar parts in each other. I have been excited about it for almost a week! April 09 Tulip FestivalIt was rainy today. But nothing can stop our high spirit to see tulips! The sea of flowers showed the magic of colors and the scent of lilac was truly pleasant. Though the rain was dripping from my cap and sleeves, I did my best to capture Songling's chuckle. Finally I got warmed in the gift shop and bought two bundles of tulip which gave a happy ending to my trip. April 08 Being lazyTime flies when I read my own blog. I guess I am one of the most fortunate people in the world after my parents arrived in Seattle. They take care of everything including me! Songling's hair has been cut and she looks like a baby boy. Smiling most of the time when she is awake, she is a happy girl by nature. Still a few stressful days ahead. Wish my good luck will come soon!:) February 25 StoriesI watched an interesting DVD about Richard Rodgers. He was the composer of Sound of Music. I am surprised that though his music was very sweet, he was such a sad person and had many fears. Also his talented parter was sad underneath, being drunk most of the time. Another good one is Disney's Princess stories. I am amazed the artists have so much imagination that make Jasmin looks like a real snake. I am also touched by Aladin's true love for Jasmin that finally brings a happy ending. The story is really sweet and beautiful |
